The Fylde Memorial Arboretum and Community Woodland is a peaceful, volunteer-run space dedicated to remembrance and reflection. Nestled in the heart of Blackpool, it honours those who have served in the Armed Forces and public service, and offers a quiet place for the community to gather, learn, and grow together. With native trees, memorial stones, and a commitment to wildlife and wellbeing, the Arboretum is a living tribute — shaped by many, remembered by all.

Heritage Open Day Remembrance walk
Join us for a special Remembrance Walk through the Fylde Memorial Arboretum and Community Woodland.
Discover the stories behind the Arboretum and the memorials within it, learn about the people and events they commemorate, and explore the significance of this unique living memorial.
The walk will also explore Blackpool’s role during both World Wars, uncovering some of the local history connected to the Armed Forces and the wider community.
A chance to walk, remember, discover and reflect amongst the trees and memorials of the Arboretum.
